The China Disabled People’s Performing Art world-famous show “My Dream” whose “Dance of a Thousand Hands” will make its’ one and only Sacramento performance Friday November 16th at Opening Night of Global Winter Wonderland 208 at 6:00 PM.

The dedication of these visually, hearing, and physically impaired artists, invite us all to take on the challenges of everyday life with hearts full of happiness and gratitude, as they themselves pursue artistic perfection with their disabilities. This show and performance has been described as “deeply inspiring”.

“Love is our common language. When your heart is full of love and kindness, you will give to others a helping hand a thousand times over, and be helped a thousand times in return”

The troupe’s signature dance, choreographed by the original lead dancer Tai Lihua (hearing impaired), is performed flawlessly by 21 perfectly synchronized hearing-impaired dancers.

They can’t “Hear” the music, they literally “Feel” the music through speakers and are guided by hand gestures, this amazing troupe of deaf dancers every step, champion the rights of disabled people around the world.

The contingent of deaf dancers perform their signature “Thousand-hand Guanyin” dance — a visually stunning movement where the performers’ arms sway and flick behind their lead dancer.

In Buddhism, 42 hands represent a thousand hands. Tai Lihua, a dancer with hearing impairment and other 20 hearing impaired dancers stand on stage and appears to be one person with a thousand hands.
